lise: This next part was all Kel's brilliance, and it's not even the least bit fake.
kel: This was another request from Katie, something to make the subliminal messages aspect of the story (another part that we totally meant to expand on and make more significant than the footnote that it is) more explicit.
lise: Katie being the beta.
kel: And I thought, hey, you hear about there being subliminal messages in music ALL THE TIME. It'll be easy to just find some random article and scan it, right?
kel: So wrong. This was the only article I could find, but I think it works well because I love that the title is "Did the music say 'do it'?"
lise: Of course the music said "do it". That's all I have to say.
kel: I was using the university library and I found the article via the computer but then I had to have someone show me where it was on microfilm, because I wanted to be able to scan in the actual article, not the internet database version. For aesthetics. And the guy was like, "but you already have the article? Why do you need the microfilm?" and I was like, "Er, yes. Shut up." Next.
